… for me, maps and nautical charts are abstract and at the same time profound representations of the world … although they seem to reflect reality, they still trigger subjective, poetic, yearning feelings … sensations which I am translating into new maps …

SEAcrets

In this new series, SEAcrets, I combine the techniques of gel printing and collage so every piece is a one-of-a-kind original, as each print can only be used once, making it truly unique. Authentic nautical charts—gifts from passionate sailors—connect my works to the world of the sea, navigation, and travel.

SEAngles

They are based on details from the big SEAmaps, transformed and set into new contexts. Each SEAngle is unique: a collage made of photos, foam board, fabric, paper cut, found objects, mixed media and acrylic.

Prints
